Charming and playful Lunya is a sellsword-of-sorts hailing from the island nation of La Noscea. Her eclectic oversized family instilled a strong sense of duty in her since birth, something which has irreversibly affected her life and drives her still to learn more of the mysteries of their world and to speak for the voiceless. While some may find her larger-than-physical-form personality to be overwhelming, there's no doubt that Lunya is a force of pure good and has more compassion in her pinky finger than the whole of Aldenard.The world has not always been kind to Lunya, but it hasn't always been cruel to her either. There is no sense in dwelling on the what-ifs of the past in her eyes; it's enough that the choices she's made were her own.

One of the Twelvesblades who disappeared from Carteneau. She had a good life going for her—she had a loving family, a beautiful wife, and all the comforts life in Gridania's exclusive Gentry's Ward could give them. But when Louisoix swept in with word of the Garlean approach, she and her wife took up arms in defense of their home.In the chaos of Bahamut's descent, she was whisked away by Louisoux's spell, and flung five years into the future—a future where no one remembered her name; not even herself (because she immediately tripped and conked her head on a big, pointy rock). The one thing she remembered was a name that wasn't her own. She thus set out on a journey, hoping to find out who she was and why she lost her memories, and to look for the true bearer of her borrowed name: her wife, Tala.Even before she lost her memories, "Tala" was a bright, noisy woman with a helpful lack of shame and a very strong desire to help others. Born to a family of politicians in the Royal City of Rabanastre, Einar had a happy and comfortable early childhood and spent most of his days listening to his mother's stories of the world outside of the city. He was just old enough to have hazy memories of Dalmasca's fall and its subsequent annexation by the Garlean Empire. His father turned out to be supplying the Empire with information and was quick to leave his family in the dust. In the following upheaval, his mother did everything in her power to ensure he and his sister would survive the imperial conquest, including selling most of the family's belongings and retreating into the slums where they were less likely to attract unwanted attention. The lone heirloom that did not go sold was a set of gold jewelry that had been passed down between the generations of the Yoyvli family's summoners.

One of the Twelvesblades. Adopted by a wealthy Elezen family as an infant and raised in Old Sharlayan, Fleuriri has no emotional connection to Eorzea, so why did they leave their homeland?The Historias have long observed the rest of the world as beneath them, and it was on a whim that they plucked Fleuriri from their birth parents in their little Dravanian fishing village, wanting to see if they could extract the "barbarian" from children born outside of the motherland. Fleuriri, when not trapped in the manor library for intense studying sessions, was largely neglected. As such, they grew up distant and apathetic, never speaking out of line but never putting more effort than they needed to into anything. It was their sole love for Nymian history that made them pack up their tomes and steal away in the dead of the night, eschewing their family name and status for the only thing they ever felt anything like emotion for.They would have been content sleeping in their tent for the rest of their days had a not-yet-battle-hardened Einar Howl literally tripped onto said tent, nearly crushing them inside. His mission to track down Louisoix Leveilleur intrigued them, and within the hour they found themself on the road with him, the floating ruins of Nym growing fainter in the distance as their fates started to entwine.

A headstrong and confident monk with a strong sense of justice. Though he's rather hotheaded and says things impulsively, he's quite mature, responsible, and wise, with a keen eye for decision making.The H tribe loyally offered its sons and daughters to the Fist of Rhalgr for centuries, but the razing of the Temple of the Fist and eventually the imperial conquest of Ala Mhigo led to them becoming more reclusive than ever before, sticking stoutly to their traditions and turning away outsiders in fear of losing any more of their children as they retreated further into the mountains of Gyr Abania. H'syohn Nunh raised his first son with the intent of him continuing their traditions and becoming a nunh himself. H'lios wasn't interested in becoming a nunh, though, and when his heart lacked conviction during the battle that should have decided his future—when his father demanded that H'lios strike him down and take his place, but he could not—he chose to exile himself out of guilt.Since leaving home, he's discovered that he enjoys the freedom of being an adventurer more than he ever enjoyed training to become nunh. In her homeland of the Thirteenth, Cirrus was the crown princess of Eblana, a frost-blanketed kingdom to the southwest of Baron. She was cherished deeply by her people, every bit the ideal royal: kind, compassionate, and hardworking, well-educated and refined, fully aware of her station and the privileges afforded to it. When the Contramemoria reached her kingdom Cirrus took to the battlefield as a memoriate leading her soldiers in the frontlines.When the Thirteenth tipped into Darkness, Cirrus was saved by the ensuing Flood by Nabriales, who was enraged by her lack of gratitude for being saved and placed her in a ring, where she slumbered for what must have been centuries before being found by Princess Sphene of Alexandria in the midst of the Storm Surge. Sphene's aether stirred Cirrus from her slumber, awakening her in a land completely foreign to her. It was the other princess's kindness that saved Cirrus, who served as her personal knight through her coronation until Sphene's "death". Preservation ambushed Cirrus before declaring Sphene dead, knowing that getting her out of the way was just as important as making sure Zelenia and Otis could do nothing.

The truth of Cola's origins are not so simple—she came to be after the Warriors of Light defeated the hoarhound Fenrir in the depths of Snowcloak and was discovered soon after the death of Ysayle and the events of Heavensward. With no idea of exactly who she was, she was promptly taken under «lode»'s wing and given a name.What is Cola, really? A child abandoned by the heretics? A miniature primal, born of a protective wish? A spirit who found form again with a dispersal of aether? A changeling of sorts? The Warriors have a million guesses and no answers, but whatever she was before and whatever she is now, Cola's only fault is loving her newfound family unconditionally.

A Miqo'te girl who came into Lunya's care when she was just a small child.Linnet's parents were Corvosi rebels; the discovery of their base ended with the family's capture, and as powerful summoners her parents were conscripted into the imperial army and their infant daughter held hostage to force them to comply. Her salvation came in the form of Niols, a conscript who was tasked with tending to her because a long-term injury left him suited to little else. At the urging of Linnet's parents, he fled with her on the night they commenced their plan to overthrow the castrum's overseers. It is more than likely that they both perished in the riot and primal summoning that covered Niols's escape.

Lunya's steadfast friend from their days together on Pearl Lane and the leader of her retainers.Born Jijirusa, his mother hated him for his resemblance to his father and she abandoned him on Pearl Lane to fend for himself at four summers old. It was only through the mercy of some of the older urchin children that Jijirusa survived—they took him under their wing and protected him, teaching him what he needed to know to survive life in Ul'dah's slums after giving him a new name. When Lunya—still known as Yeyema—arrived in Ul'dah, Sirius helped her escape her first failed pickpocketing attempt, becoming her protector in the process as the two banded together with Zaya Qestir and Valdis Otoel. It was also Sirius who managed to free her from Susuna's employ.When Lunya began to take job requests at the Adventurers' Guild after the Calamity, Sirius initially came along with her—but his fighting days came to an end when a job at Nophica's Well went wrong. Lunya instead hired him as a retainer, and today he operates as the head of her household in the Lavender Beds.
